Story starts with a feeling
There is a story behind every cup of coffee, and Lincoln Coffee House & Roasters is proud to be part of that journey, roasting beans with years of expertise in the coffee industry. Founded by Jas and Simmi in 2013, Lincoln Coffee began as a family-run café in Reading, aiming to bring a true speciality coffee experience to the area. Their passion for exceptional coffee and delicious food quickly made Lincoln Coffee a local favourite, known for its high-quality coffee and bagels.
Wanting to take their craft further, Jas and Simmi expanded their business by opening their own coffee roastery in 2018, investing in a coffee roaster and perfecting their roasting techniques through dedication and perseverance. Today, Lincoln Coffee House & Roasters is renowned for its speciality roasts, offering a wide selection of filter and espresso coffees while maintaining a strong commitment to ethical sourcing.
As the business continues to grow, our focus remains on sourcing ethically produced coffee, paying prices above Fairtrade standards, and delivering the highest quality speciality coffee to our customers.

Origins
Here at Lincoln Coffee House & Roasters, we offer a diverse range of speciality coffees from different origins, all sourced seasonally to ensure the highest quality. Half of our coffees come directly from our relationships with farmers in Brazil, Colombia, and India, while the other half are sourced from ethical speciality coffee importers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. We believe in providing farmers with prices that exceed Fairtrade standards, allowing them to improve their livelihoods, expand their businesses, and continue producing exceptional coffee. Direct trade enables us to support farmers more meaningfully, fostering growth and local employment, while our trusted importers ensure that all sourced coffee meets our high ethical and quality standards.
In addition, our importers work closely with farmers on projects that enhance their prospects and sustainability efforts. Our direct trade relationships include coffees from Brazil, Colombia, and India, while our imported selections feature exceptional beans from Mexico, Guatemala, and Rwanda.
